Over the years we have delivered some very high profile projects.
Cardiff City FC moved to their new state of the art stadium in 2011 with BMS providing all of the technology services from the copper CAT6 cabling to the IPTV solution. So BMS as the current provider was best placed to upgrade the venue to meet the high standards of the premier league.
As the richest league in the world the technology requirements are very high to provide the broadcasters across the world with the quickest latest technology infrastructure.
New press and broadcast areas were created and BMS installed additional fibre cabling, thousands of metres of CAT6 cabling for hundreds of CAT6 outlets to be used for media, medical and increased stadium capacity.
As a supplier to the Principality Stadium BMS were instructed to install the fibre optic back bone, structured cabling and small power for the Dragon Heart Hospital.
When the Principality stadium was transformed into a Covid field hospital BMS were first onsite installing the fibre optic backbone from the ground floor to the first wards on level 5. The Stadium was transformed into series of wards with of over 100's of beds within 14 days.
BMS had team of over 20 engineers onsite installing structured cabling, fibre optic cabling and small power for WIFI and Data outlets for the essential services.
Merthyr County Borough Council had analogue CCTV for over 25 years and the system had grown bringing in smaller villages and areas across the borough. The CCTV managers decided that it was time to upgrade the CCTV installation and take advantage of the many technology advances that have been made since the original system was installed many years ago.
This decision was taken following on from the authority’s previous contractor using Dahua so it was decided that the same equipment manufacturer would be used since the authority has that CCTV brand in use already. The authority’s opinion was to reduce the number of cameras in the low footfall areas and thus reducing the overhead costs for BT and electric and allowing the cameras to be on their own secure private high-speed digital network were possible whilst allowing the flexibility to bring sites on via the internet
